In May 1990, Al Masaood Energy engaged into a 51-49% joint-venture agreement with Furmanite Corporation. A new registered company was then established under the name of Furmanite UAE Limited, to serve UAE and Oman territories. In December 1999, Al Masaood Energy sealed an acquisition deal of Furmanite’s shares becoming a 100% ownership holder of the company. Today, Furmanite UAE is one of the leading service providers in comprehensive on-site/on-line plant and pipeline maintenance in the Middle East region. The company specializes in services that meet plant start-up and operation maintenance challenges through cost-effective on-line applications, eliminating unscheduled shutdowns for all kind of process industries.
