FuseSocial is a backbone organization that will work with other community partners and stakeholders to address several key priorities including:
1. Increasing Collaboration
2. Cultivating a Collective Voice
3. Creating a Backbone Organization
4. Rebranding the Sector
5. Developing an Integrated Community Plan for Social Impact
6. Knowing the Sector Better
7. Increasing Community Engagement
In addition to continuing the current programming provided by each partner, the new entity will pursue collaborative work to increase collective impact by:
• guiding vision and strategy for the sector;
• supporting aligned activities;
• establishing shared measurement practices;
• building public will;
• advancing policy and;
• mobilizing funding.
Our goal is to enhance the capacity of individual Wood Buffalo social profit organizations; to create collective influence for better Wood Buffalo social profit sector representation; to incubate Wood Buffalo social profit organizations and collaborations and; to encourage and facilitate the development of community volunteers and leaders.
This collaboration is not about building a better agency it’s about building a better community. The three organizations have come together to foster the development of stronger social profit organizations and a thriving, engaged Wood Buffalo sector.
