The Fusion Group

The Fusion Group is newly formed and brings together two existing and successful businesses, Technical Team Solutions and Fusion Meetups and combines them with a third and newer brand, Fusion Workshops. Founded in 2013 Technical Team Solutions (now known as Fusion Talent) had built a reputation for combining the best talent with some of finest innovators in Midlands Tech. Operating as a small business allowed us to work on a more personal level, and build great relationships with our clients that are going strong today. Working in this collaborative way allowed us to see that there was a clear need for a non-corporate, sales-free space in which Tech professionals could get together, learn and share ideas in an informal, sociable environment; Fusion Meetup was born. Launched in 2014, the first Fusion Meetup saw 30 Midlands Tech professionals enjoy inspiring talks from expert speakers, served up alongside the finest street-food Birmingham had to offer. In just under four months, the guest list grew rapidly to 120 and it’s now been recognised and supported by the likes of Microsoft, Samsung and Vonage. In 2016 we ran our first workshop with Troy Hunt, and from that point Fusion Workshops was born. Since then we’ve run workshops with Microsoft and The Ministry of Testing, and we’re committed to continually creating further unique opportunities like these to support and promote continued learning for all. We’re big believers in the local Tech eco-system, and we invest in a number of local Tech-driven initiatives; including Silicon Canal, School of Code, BrumHack, CovHack, Hackference and Hack The Midlands. For our founders Hannah and Andy, who have both worked in the industry for over a decade and are passionate about Midlands Tech, it made sense to bring everything we do together in one place and so here we are; welcome to the Fusion Family.
