Fusion Centre for Doctoral Training (Fusion CDT)

We are an EPSRC-funded Centre for Doctoral Training in Fusion Power and in the Science and Technology of Fusion Energy. The CDT is a collaboration between six leading research-intensive universities: Durham University, University of Liverpool, The University of Manchester, University of Oxford, University of York and University of Sheffield. We work in partnership with more than 20 private companies, UK & international labs and government agencies. Our students will benefit from systems-thinking-based technical training in plasma physics and materials science including tritium breeding & handling.
