Since 1970s FEL has been a pioneer in Butt Fusion and Electrofusion Welding Equipment and tooling for use on polyethylene piping systems. Founded by Mr Eric Bridgstock, the company was instrumental in the introduction of gas distribution through PE pipes in the UK gas industry and is now a multinational company with its headquarters and principal manufacturing site located in Chesterfield, England. In 2016, Mr Bridgstock gave his wholehearted approval that the ownership of his creation would pass into the safe hands of the Caldervale Technology Group.
