We want to be recognized as the legitimate voice for Afghanistan and the legitimate political opposition to the Taliban. We envision a new Afghanistan that has a government that is inclusive, ethnically balanced and treats all Afghans equally. We envision a new Afghanistan that thrives as a harmonious society, valuing the dignity and potential of every Afghan everywhere and recognized globally for its commitment to human rights, social equity, and economic development. We believe Afghanistan can secure its borders and ensure terrorism is no longer a threat in Afghanistan or to its regional or international neighbors. We welcome a dialogue with the Taliban on a way forward in Afghanistan.
