About Future Generation Europe

Welcome to official LinkedIn page of FGE! Budúca Generácia Európy, o.z. (int. name Future Generation Europe) is a civic association dedicated to development of education of young people in age 16 to 25 years old. Its activities are conducted through volunteering and unique projects focused on various insufficient aspects of Slovak education system. The flagship project of FGE is project MiniErasmus under the patronage of European parliament. We are also organizing a series of successful mentorship programs Lead Up Academy, Lady Up and Wake Up. Project Lead Up Academy is established with the aid of ESET Foundation. Project Lady Up is supported by Accenture nadačný fond - Nadácia Pontis. In the summer 2017, we have successfully organized the first international exchange - No need for NEET! in cooperation with IUVENTA and SAAIC. Aside aforementioned projects, FGE works in the field of career education and provides opportunities for young people also through projects such as Youth 2 Business or Networking Night. In 2018, we have successfully launched our expansion to Czech republic. Due to COVID-19, FGE successfully transformed its activities in 2020 into online formats (such as MiniErasmus Online). However, after the global pandemic is over, we will resume live event formats once again. FGE is the national winner of Charlemagne Youth Prize 2015 awarded for youth project activities. Prize is awarded by the European Parliament. In 2016, project Mini-Erasmus was awarded the National prize of career advisory by project center Euroguidance - SAAIC. The project Mini-Erasmus was nominated into 3 best volunteering projects of year 2016 in the area of education from among 85 candidates. In 2017, the chairman of FGE Mgr. Matúš Jarolín received an award - Slovak Volunteers Coordinator of the year 2017 which is awarded by Bratislava Volunteering Center.
