Future Makers Foundation – Dream • Design • Disrupt Who we are Future Makers Foundation is a Bay-Area–based 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to turning young curiosity into engineering confidence. We partner with Title I elementary schools to make sure every child can code, innovate, and thrive in the digital economy. Signature programs Future Makers Labs (10-week clubs) – project-based courses in Coding, Artificial Intelligence, and Financial Literacy that transform classrooms into mini start-ups. Industry Hackathons – one-day build sprints on the campuses of Google and other partners, where student teams ship working prototypes with help from professional mentors. Career Pathways – ongoing mentorship, virtual office hours, and field trips that show K-12 learners the real people and roles behind today’s tech products. Impact since 2021 1,200+ student projects completed 95 % of participants report increased confidence in math & tech 40 % jump in girls’ computer-science enrollment at partner schools How we collaborate School districts, corporate CSR teams, and individual volunteers join us to co-design curricula, host hackathons, fund scholarships, and mentor budding engineers.
