FRE plc was established in 2015 to develop medium-sized wind turbine sites in Scotland and across the UK. We have considerable experience in the sub-500kW wind energy sector, our management team is currently focusing on medium-sized wind turbines. Our wind turbine developments are designed to become long-term fixed assets with stable and recurring revenue streams. FRE plc has acquired several “shovel-ready” sites, which have planning permission, 25 year leases and grid connections. All energy generated from these sites will be sold into the national grid. The rates payable for the electricity generated are index linked and guaranteed by the UK Government for 20 years.
