Future Voices

Welcome to Future Voices. Future Voices was developed to support front line social care practitioners working with children and families and affected by extra familial harm. Participation and coproduction drive development undertaken to bring about change. Learning promotes contextual working to tackle complex risk and vulnerability within a statutory context, supporting the application of current research, theory and evidence in practice. Our approach to learning focusses upon relationship-based and systemic working in our assessment and understanding, collaborative working, intervention and leadership. “Our mission is to achieve practice, structures and systems that safeguard children from extra familial harm” We know that working to safeguard young people who suffer harm outside of their home is both complex and challenging. We understand that for staff and services working to create safer conditions, often while children continue to experience harm, is dependent upon robust systems. #ReflectivePractice and #Relationships are central to our approach of achieving the necessary and containing conditions for children, families and the networks that support them to thrive. We promote the 'whole system' working together to bring about change through focus upon relationship-based and systemic working in our assessment and understanding, collaborative working, intervention and operational and strategic leadership.
