Future Youth Inspired (FYI)

Future Youth Inspired (FYI) is a specialist, relationship-based one-to-one mentoring and education service for young people aged 10 to 18 years who may have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) are in need of short-term education and, or mentoring. We support Young People who find classroom environments with other students challenging, and aim to restore their motivation for learning through creative and personalised timetables which transition them into a specialist group-focused provision or back to their on-roll mainstream school. Future Youth Inspired supports Young People who specifically experience challenges with their social, emotional and mental health (SEMH), which include but are not limited to ADHD (Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder), ASC (Autism Spectrum Condition) and conditions manifesting as a result of historic trauma. Closely working with local authorities and parents / carers, we adopt a unique one-to-one relationship-based approach to understand each Young Persons’ needs to create a bespoke timetable which engages them socially and academically, promotes positive experiences and regains their trust in education.
