FutureFaculty exists to develop the entrepreneurial mindset to help people understand their potential and prepare them to solve whatever challenges they encounter.
Our logo is the origami crane. An ancient Japanese legend promises that anyone who folds a thousand origami cranes will be granted happiness and eternal good luck by the gods. This is called the Senbazuru.
Folding 1,000 paper cranes is not an easy project. Origami cranes get easier to fold with practice, but making 1,000 paper cranes is still a huge undertaking. For this reason, it’s common for groups of people to join together to make a Senbazuru.
For us, the origami crane represents the key traits of an entrepreneurial mindset: creativity, determination, collaboration and leadership.
