The Future Food Network aims to drive and support the development of a progressive local food industry in WA throughout the supply chain. To do that we have mapped five areas which we consider to be our main focus for the foreseeable future.
CONNECTORY - Connecting through an local online connectory that delivers access to packaging, manufacturing, raw produce, education and the facilities that are needed to value add and innovate. Develop a consumer facing directory that showcases everything local.
INSPIRATION - Providing events and other mediums that promote and inspire food and produce innovation including a biannual Future of Food Conference.
WASTE - supporting our members to undertake measures to combat food and packaging waste.
ENVIRONMENT – Showcasing innovative food production models based on climate conscious, land and non-soil systems as well as making better use of what we have.
TECHNOLOGY – Showcasing new technologies for domestic and industrial transformation of food products and transparency in the supply chain. Online delivery and logistics.
