Future for Future

“Future for Future” is an organization involved in environmental management, the fight against climate change, while working for sustainable development. Our ambition is to explore and bring practical solutions to local populations, while working to ensure a better future for the next generations. Future for Future is also involved in scientific research and advocacy at the local, regional and international level for climate justice. “Future for Future” means “one future for another”. We consider that we are currently in a future which is the result of the behaviors and actions of our predecessors. This future that we are experiencing exposes us to several challenges. We are therefore working to ensure another future, better and with many sustainable advances in development for future generations. The motto of the Future for Future: “Prevent – Act – Sustain. Acting for a sustainable future”. Our vision is to create a green and sustainable world for present and future generations. Our mission is to research and provide authentic and practical solutions to pressing environmental and climate change issues through empowerment, skills development, scientific research, education, and collaboration. We work with local communities to help them to adapt to climate change effects, and to reduce the vulnerability of groups that are at risk to climate impacts such as children, youth, women and people with disabilities who have a comparatively less adaptive capacity due to social, cultural and structural inequalities in our societies. Our goal is to work for the socio-economic well-being of communities, for a sustainable development at local, regional and international levels. To develop capacity and strong partnerships of people from the Global South, so that they are better equipped to address climate change issues in their communities through adaptation and resilience for the benefit of the present and future generations.
