Future Roads is an annual conference for the roading industry that launched in November 2022 at Claudelands Events Centre in Hamilton.
Over 300 delegates attended and it was sponsored by Waka Kotahi and received an endorsement from Minister of Transport Hon Michael Wood who spoke at the inaugural event.
The conference attracted an audience from road owners throughout New Zealand including central and local government. It appealed to the significant engineering and infrastructure services provider community.
Conference content is assembled under the guidance of an advisory panel, settling on the following key subject areas: leadership; regulation; procurement; materials; technology, and; sustainability.
A large exhibition hall hosts technology displays and equipment providers.
Future Roads is pleased to have the support of industry associations Infrastructure New Zealand, the Aggregate & Quarry Association, Civil Contractors New Zealand and UDINZ. It is also supported by Local Government New Zealand.
