FYKOS organizes nonprofit events with the aim to educate and inspire high-school students in physics and related fields. FYKOS has a rich history of over 35 years of organizing educational competitions and other events under the patronage of the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics at Charles University in Prague. Our events include, e.g., Fyziklani – the largest team physics competition in physics in Europe (hosting over 1200 participants from 22 countries in 2024), the Physics Brawl Online – an online version of Fyziklani with over 6000 participants from 83 countries, and many other events, such as the FYKOS Correspondence Competition or Day of Experimental Physics.
