About The Filipino Young Professionals of Houston (FYP)
Filipino Young Professionals of Houston (FYP) was originally created in 2009 to promote Filipino culture among young professionals and as a means of giving back and providing a gathering point. Today, FYP has become a hub through which our community uplift one another and share the vibrant Filipino culture throughout the region via our cultural dance troupe, youth scholarship, networking and philanthropic initiatives, dragon boating team, and our flagship event, the Houston Filipino Street Festival. By sharing and celebrating Filipino culture and by inspiring and empowering the next generation, we dream of building out a community that is diverse, creative and thriving.
