Over 250 scientists research on digital participation and democracy, energy, healthcare, IT security, mobility, production and logistics, robotics, and software development. Here, we cooperate with partners from industry, business, science, associations and the public sector on more than 250 projects per year. Application-oriented research at the FZI is not just a concept but a living reality. The FZI House of Living Labs offers modern, spacious laboratories with the latest equipment where innovations can be thoroughly tested and further developed.
Working, doing a doctorate, and perhaps launching a start-up all at the same time? No problem at the FZI. Thanks to the wide range of opportunities at the FZI, our scientists do not have to focus on just one aspect of their career but can pursue several goals simultaneously.
