The Faculty of Agriculture and Technology (FAT) is one of the oldest faculties of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice (USB). Its origins date back to 1960 when it was founded as part of the University of Agriculture in Prague. In 1991, it was one of the founding faculties and played a key role in the establishment of the newly emerging University of South Bohemia. Approximately 1,100 students are enrolled at the faculty.
