Geneva Learning Network (GLN)

Empowering our global workforce to 'Transform our World' and achieve the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. The Geneva Learning Network (GLN) is a forum open to professionals involved in learning, training and staff development for international organizations based in Geneva and beyond. Through regular meetings we exchange on any subjects related to learning, training, career counselling and staff development. The GLN virtual yammer community is a valuable resource for colleagues also based elsewhere for sharing information, seeking advice and discussing common issues. Under the helm of the GLN, 11 UN entities are implementing the EMERGE - Programme for Emerging Women Leaders since 2017. Now in it's second edition, the EMERGE Programme addresses specific needs of high-potential mid-level (P3) female staff from across the UN system and aims at strengthening leadership competence and style of emerging women leaders to take on greater responsibilities.
