With over 80 years’ experience under our belts, we are proud to be internationally recognised as a market leader for AC generators and control systems. Our range of bespoke generators caters for a wide range of markets including naval, data centres, airports, luxury yachts, offshore installations just to name a few. Our ability to tailor projects specifically to each brief has allowed us involvement on some of the most prestigious and demanding projects in the world. This has given us outstanding and unique experience in the field. From the initial concept right through to the finished products, the whole process is a seamless and straight forward operation for all of our customers. This is made possible with our in-house expert teams offering a wealth of knowledge, working together to offer the best possible engineering solutions. - - - We were founded in 1938 by the Green Ace Motor Company which began the journey for G&M. During the 1980’s, G&M was recognised as the leading UK manufacturer of Marine Diesel Generators competing directly with the USA’s Onan brand at the time. The Company had since been registered as G&M Power Plant Ltd. In 2002, Countryman Power Ltd, a leading manufacturer of land based generators, was acquired to expand the customer base. In 2015, the business and assets of G&M Power Plant Ltd were acquired by TEX Holdings PLC in August 2015 and G&M Tex was incorporated into the Tex Group. G&M TTEX is proud to be a Tex Holdings Company.
