Le GAB du Tarn a été créé en mars 2022 par un groupe de maraîchers.ères bio, en vue de disposer d’un outil pour répondre à différents besoins identifiés : développement d’un réseau de producteurs.rices, de rencontres et d’échanges entre pairs, l’accompagnement technique et économique, et développement des circuits locaux de commercialisation, le tout pour concourir à consolider la viabilité des fermes et améliorer les conditions de vie des
producteurs.rices bio.
Le GAB du Tarn adhère au réseau régional Bio Occitanie et au réseau national de la FNAB. Il adhère également au réseau des CIVAM et de la FRCIVAM Occitanie depuis l’automne 2022.
En prolongement à ces actions, le GAB du Tarn agit aux côtés des collectivités pour contribuer à structurer des systèmes agricoles et alimentaires territoriaux favorisant l’agriculture biologique et locale.
