I am an epidemiologist, data analyst, and medical writer and editor. When working on a manuscript or grant proposal, I am guided by my training in public health and also by my second passion, music. I seek to move the draft towards a finished product that is clear, structured and coherent, and where surprises are few and carefully planned – in other words, like a compelling musical performance. I have helped clients in academia with grant proposals that have been funded by the NIH and CIHR in Canada, and with manuscripts accepted to top-tier peer-reviewed journals.
