The Global Association of Economics Education (GAEE) is a student-led international NGO founded in 2017 to promote economic education, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship incubation for students in developing countries and marginalized communities. Recognized as the SDG Action no. 36897 by the United Nations, GAEE's 1500-member network is on a mission to democratize economics education for everyone--not just those seeking economics priesthood.
GAEE currently operates in ten countries and is affiliated with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), one of the six principal organs of the United Nations. It also receives support from and has partnered with the World Economics Association, Techsoup, Google, Facebook, Amazon, Microsoft, AIESEC and several universities across the globe.
