Gallery Paradne is a traveling exhibition and a vagabond space. It was founded by Anastina Eyjolsfdottir and Filip Groubnov in September 2018 in their apartment in Exarchia, Athens. The name of the gallery comes from the russian word “Парадная”, which means the main entrance.
Our idea is to give artist absolute freedom to use and change the given space in any way they want, the gallery does not take any profit from the artists. The fact that the exhibitions happen in an actual living space also makes the situation more intimate. This approach creates a different feeling and allows us to expand the traditional frames of art shows.
