Gallery 27 is a new addition to Dubai's art scene, specializing in Pop Art, NéoPop, and Street Art, driven by its French team while introducing a unique and highly innovative French savoir-faire to the art world. This "rule-breaker" was created with the purpose of representing contemporary artists and the emergence of new talents. Located in the vibrant Marina Gate district, Gallery 27 officially opened its doors in December 2019. This new artistic platform is primarily focused on neo-pop and contemporary art, characterized by themes and techniques from popular culture such as advertising, comics, and other cultural objects from around the world. Pop Art is widely interpreted as a reaction to today's dominant ideas of mass culture. Gallery 27 presents a global vision by showcasing the best from the region and the rest of the world, honoring French and Thai artists like Jonas Leriche, Sarah Borderie, Jean-Michel Collell, and Puritat Deangharm. The Gallery seeks unique, unconventional, and boundary-breaking artists. Together, the artists of the Gallery are ambassadors of the "Collectif 27," representing and promoting contemporary optimism and a modern vision of life where art and technology are deeply intertwined. Working closely with an art workshop, Gallery 27 offers the opportunity for all artists to join the "Collectif 27" to develop their artistic skills. Their works take on another dimension. Each piece presented by Gallery 27 has a unique perception. The design practices used by the artists stem from extensive research involving new technologies, and the art workshop holds all the manufacturing secrets.
