The GALMED company is a family business. Its founder is Marian Meger, currently his daughter - Katarzyna Meger continues its activity. The company was founded in 1980. Since 1985 we have been producing disposable medical equipment. We started the production on market demand, which was lacking imported equipment. Initially, we operated as a member of a craft cooperative, and after the political changes, from 1989 as an independent enterprise. We were co-founders of the Association of Medical Equipment Manufacturers in Bydgoszcz which no longer exists and a member of the Polfarmed Chamber of Commerce. We are currently a member of the Technomed Chamber of Commerce as well as a member of the Bydgoszcz Industrial Cluster. From the beginning of our activity, our priority was the quality and safety of our products. We meet the high standards of the Directive 93/42 /EC and the MDR Regulation, EN ISO 13485 as well as harmonized standards. We have EC certificates for all products. Our company is supervised by the notified body TÜV Nord which conduct annual supervisory audits, and recertification audits every three years. Before Poland joined the European Union, we operated on the basis of the License of the Minister of Health and certificates issued by the National Institute of Public Health and the Medicines Institute.
