The Machine Learning & Applications Research Group (GAMA) conducts research and development of machine learning and deep learning techniques to solve problems in computer vision, signal processing and tabular data processing, comprising both fundamental and applied research.
The group has three major goals: to advance the state-of-the-art in machine learning through scientific publications; to provide its student members with a solid theoretical and practical experience in machine learning; and to assist Brazilian companies in the successful application of machine learning techniques in their products and services.
