GamCON Hacking Community is a non-profit organization made up of Information security researchers, centered on a collective purpose and vision to be a vehicle championing the cause of cybersecurity education and research in The Gambia, through mentorship, training, and awareness of Information security best practices, acting as an agent of change to address the cybersecurity skills gap through engaging intellectual minds, business, and political leaders.
GamCON seeks to encourage the participation of young people in Cybersecurity and to conduct a premier conference series emphasizing the influence of young people in Cybersecurity and STEM.
GamCON prides itself on a laid back, casual and fun atmosphere for real learning and knowledge sharing to promote a genuine affection for the lifelong learning aspect in the Cybersecurity field. GamCON seeks to indulge members of all skill levels and does not solely serve a strictly professional audience.
To help better serve the needs of our community and aid in solving the skills gap in cybersecurity, GamCON offers both paid and unpaid services and resources to gain and circulate knowledge.
