Game Train is an IT accelerator and incubator, with the dedicated aim to enhancing Pakistan’s role in the Global IT/Gaming space by providing a platform for upcoming intellectual capital and chiseling the talent pool.
Close your eyes and for a second imagine a Pakistan where there is no unemployment, no social divide, gender diversity and representation by more and more women in IT (and all other sectors). A Pakistan burgeoning with successful Gaming startups and a force to reckon with in the Global IT Arena. Whilst it may seem far-fetched, it’s not. Game Train diagnosed the situation whilst trying to harvest top talent for its partner companies and used the road blocks along the way to envision an opportunity for IT sustainability and growth.
Game Train is an industry-led initiative tirelessly working towards bridging the gap with support from the Government and Foreign IT bodies. However, there is still a lot to be done towards realizing the IT Dream.
Our vision is to address the scarcity of talent question and address it from within by a two pronged approach:
Harvesting talented candidates and coaching them with skills not taught in academic institutions, skills needed to join the IT industry with confidence and swag.
Ensuring placements to graduates of Game Train by a process of pre-selection by onboard industry partners.
