Created by professionals in the video game industry, the Gameable program aims to develop technology and game design skills in youth.
In 2023, the program will start as a pilot under the sponsorship of Technovation Montreal and will target girls aged 15 to 17.
The concept is simple: teams of two to five participants accompanied by mentors will develop a video game prototype on a given theme.
At the end of the program, the young people will showcase what they have learned at a demo day with several industry companies.
Through Gameable, participants will learn basic game design, production planning and programming skills.
