The Georgia Medical Cannabis Society (GMCS) is a grassroots nonprofit committed to advancing health equity, patient rights, and cannabis education across Georgia. Founded by patients, for patients, GMCS bridges the gap between legislation, healthcare, and community needs—ensuring that those most impacted by outdated cannabis laws have access to accurate information, support, and advocacy.
At GMCS, we fight for Patients Over Profits. Our work focuses on underserved communities—seniors, veterans, the indigent, and the formerly incarcerated—providing education on medical cannabis, policy changes, and how to navigate Georgia’s Low THC Oil program. We are also strong advocates for home grow, decriminalization, and protecting patient privacy rights.
Through our programs, including the Pressure Play Workshop, 2HW Summit (Holistic Health & Wellness Summit), and Compassion in Action Podcast Series, we equip everyday people with the tools to advocate, educate, and elevate their voices in public policy.
As a proud Partner in Compassion with trusted organizations like Veriheal, we help individuals get certified for medical cannabis while raising awareness about ethical cannabis reform.
