GameIS is a non-profit organization promoting and supporting the Israeli Digital Games Industry. קהילת גיים איז הוקמה במהלך שנת 2009 כגלגול של הסניף המקומי של איגוד מפתחי המשחקים הבינלאומי, במטרה לרכז את הפעילות הארצית בתחום משחקי המחשב. בשנת 2011 הוקמה עמותת תעשיית המשחקים הדיגיטליים בישראל (ע"ר) המהווה ארגון גג למפתחי המשחקים בארץ ומקיימת מגוון אירועים ופעילויות לקידום התעשייה בארץ. מטרות העמותה: 1. להוות גוף רשמי המטפח את הקהילה המקומית 2. לשמש נציג רשמי מול הגופים המוסדיים, המסחריים, האקדמיים והתקשורתיים 3.לייצג את הקהילה המקומית בזירה הבינ"ל
