Gamer’s Rhapsody is a Minneapolis-based 501-c3 nonprofit dedicated to connecting artists, musicians, developers, and every kind of video game fan to offer creative events, unique experiences, and educational resources while building a community that promotes and celebrates the art of video games and those who make it.
Gamer's Rhapsody as a convention was started in 2014 by Thomas Spargo to help build a community around video game music and development. In 2018 the event was rebranded as VGM CON (Video Games & Music Convention) to ensure the event focus was clear. Gamer's Rhapsody incorporated in 2018 and is now the host of VGM CON, and other video game and music events in the Twin Cities area.
