Since its establishment in 1978, Gamini Group has been active participant in the infrastructure development sector of Sri Lanka. Over the course of the past 30 years we have defined ourselves by continually re-investing our knowledge and capital. This has enabled us to evolve from working alongside several multinational corporations to executing some of most prestigious building and infrastructure developments projects in Sri Lanka such as, the rehabilitation of the Giritale Dam in Polonnaruwa and was awarded by CIDA (Construction Industry Development Authority) the best performance award of year. We are specialist in fields such as Water Supply and Drainage, Municipal roads, Highways, Bridges, Irrigation and Super structures and have been awarded the highest grade of qualification of C1 contractor by CIDA at the same time been awarded ISO 9001:2008 for our quality management system implemented throughout our group. As a backward integrated group within the civil engineering industry we operate in all verticals within the industry from trading to manufacturing and we are the exclusive authorized explosives and ammunition distributor in Sri Lanka under license of ministry of defense Sri Lanka. Further we have currently become the largest construction material supplier for all government ministries. Gamini Construction possess the most experienced group of construction Project Managers of the country consisting over 150 managerial personals in the fields of civil, mechanical, electrical, materials, mining and earth resources engineering: together with designers, planners, quantity surveyors, technicians and over 500 workmen and the Gamini Group amount to a staff of over 1000 employees.
