His expert witness testimony has been called upon for cases involving a breach of contract with an NBA hall of fame player, a defamation case with a national broadcast news network, and an intellectual property trademark case with an international lifestyle brand retailer. Peter held leadership positions as a Partner or Director with major accounting firms in their forensic, business damages, and valuation practices. Peter is also a CPA licensed in Missouri and Quebec. Peter’s litigation, forensic and valuation expertise has been utilized for testimony in the U.S. District Court, Circuit Courts, U.S. Bankruptcy Court, U.S. Tax Court, the American Arbitration Association, and in Quebec Superior Court. Peter's experience also included cases for patent, trade name and copyright infringement, economic damages and lost profit in connection with false advertising, product liability, disputes with the IRS, shareholder/partner/member disputes and statutory buyouts, marital disputes, breach of fiduciary, personal injury and employment litigation. Peter has also assisted the United States Department of Justice in valuation-related business litigation. Peter's business valuation experience includes management buy-ins and buyouts, stock options, corporate tax planning, estate planning, minority interest valuations, goodwill and intangible asset impairment, and fairness opinions.
