Nearly four decades ago, the journey of Ganesh Bhel began with a dream, a handcart, and love for authentic Indian flavors. It all started when Mr. Ramesh Gudmewar, a young boy from Nanded, came to Pune with big ambitions and a passion for making lip-smacking snacks. With limited resources, he rented a handcart and began selling Bhel and Pani Puri. What started as a small venture soon grew into something extraordinary. Over two decades, Ramesh Gudmewar nurtured this dream, building a reputation for quality, taste, and hygiene. By 1996, the family’s vision took its next big step, with the opening of the first Ganesh Bhel shop in Karve Nagar, Pune. Two years later, the success expanded to three outlets, and quickly became a local favorite. Today, the operations of Ganesh Bhel are managed by Mr.Rupesh and Mr.Dinesh Gudmewar, sons of Mr.Ramesh. They have been successful in expanding the business not only in India but abroad too. The packaged products of Ganesh Bhel and Chaat Products today serve 22+ countries globally. ‘Ganesh Bhel and Chaat Products’ under their leadership has also ventured into ‘Chaat Café’ concept, where consumers not only can enjoy famous chaats but also a lot more variety of food items. Ganesh Bhel as a brand majorly focuses on quality and hygiene, and thus has successfully achieved multiple certifications including US FDA, ISO, ensuring the highest standards in food preparation and service.
