Gary Alumni Pathway To Students

Goal Statement To meet the mission of GAPS, our goals are three-fold – built on programming, partnerships, and permanence. 1. PROGRAMMING: Develop programming promote programs that deliver multiple structured pathways to success for students that connects alumni collectively and individually with students and admin, and that prepares them for academic, career and personal success 2. PARTNERSHIPS: Create effective and enduring partnerships / relationships based on common goals (collaborative, coordinative and constructive) with state, city, local school administrators, teachers, alumni, students, businesses, and community resources with the Gary Community School Community (GCSC), alumni, and with the Gary community. 3. PERMANENCE: Institutionalize GAPS by creating and developing organizational structure that promotes programming and partnerships to help students succeed, integrate GAPS into the Gary Community School Corporation (GCSC) and develop sustainable funding mechanisms.
