Garda Pangan

Garda Pangan is a potentially-wasted surplus food coordination center based in Surabaya. We aim to redistribute rescued surplus food to the people in need. Our activities including: * Food Rescue from restaurants, bakeries, and hotels. * Food Drive (food donation box). * Fruit and vegetable gleaning from farms. * Educate about food waste and its' effects. Kami telah bekerjasama dengan salah satu bakery, 3 restoran, 1 usaha catering dan 1 event organizer di Surabaya dan telah berhasil menyelamatkan kurang lebih 3.429 porsi makanan jadi yang berpotensi terbuang dan membagikannya kepada masyarakat pra-sejahtera di Surabaya. We have worked with one bakery, 3 restaurants, 1 catering service, and 1 event organizer in Surabaya and had successfully rescued about 3.429 portions of potentially-wasted meals and distributed them to the homeless, orphanages, and other foundations in Surabaya. We have participated in various competitions such as Seeds of Change organized by Forum of Young Indonesia. We are listed in Top 20 ASEAN Youth Sociopreneurship Program 2017, Top 25 Sociodigileaders Telkom 2017, and have been published in various media such as Jawa Pos, IDN Times, and SCG Magazine.
