Garland TX Economic Development

As the 13th largest city in Texas, Garland boasts a vast array of shopping, arts, outdoor recreation and special events. Nearly 250,000 residents enjoy amenities such as Lake Ray Hubbard, the shops at Firewheel Town Center and the Granville Performing Arts Center. Garland’s most recent development is the transformation of its historic Downtown Square. A massive undertaking representing a full redesign of more than 60,000 square feet, this project aims to activate the Downtown district, promote a pedestrian-friendly environment and spur economic investment in the city.
