Garrett Engineering Group, Inc. was founded by Erbie Garrett, P.E., PTOE in 2010 as a certified DBE Traffic Engineering firm. From its conception GARRETT provided signalization, lighting, and signing & marking plans plus prepared traffic studies for clients within Districts One, Two and Seven.
Megan Lerner, P.E., then joined the firm in 2014 to head up the Roadway Department and to market projects as a prime. Carlos Ramirez, P.E., PTOE, came on board in 2016 to manage the Traffic Department and to pursue Design/Build projects.
These three partners have grown GARRETT into a multidisciplinary engineering firm providing various design services to public sector clients throughout the state of Florida. GARRETT now employs multiple highly skilled professionals who have a combined total of over 90 years of experience in the Transportation field.
We now specialize in Roadway and Multi-modal Design, Traffic Engineering, Traffic Operations, Signalization Design, Lighting Design, Signing and Pavement Marking Plans and Maintenance of Traffic Plans. Our experience includes projects ranging in complexity from minor design to intricate interchange designs.
GARRETT continues to grow and is driven to become a premier Transportation Engineering consultant firm. The firm’s ultimate objective is to enhance safety through innovative and cost-effective design solutions and to continue to produce high quality engineering documents.
