GARSoft - Software Architecture Group

The Software Architecture Group (GARSoft) stands as a research and extension laboratory within the renowned Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo. Its primary focus rests on software development, but its comprehensive vision also encompasses the integration of academic, business, and social spheres. Through research oriented towards innovative solutions in the market, the group aims to establish bridges between these diverse dimensions. The group's activities cover a wide range of topics, including scientific research, data automation projects, exploration of open banking, analysis of big data, and driving innovation in the Information Technology fields. The group's operating foundation always falls on applied research, merging it with integration across the mentioned spheres. This is reflected in past projects, such as involvement with open banking, the creation of a data observatory for the disabled population in the city of São Paulo in collaboration with the city government, and lately, forays into projects related to Digital Twin research.
