Business owners, employees, and individuals hire me to understand, reduce, or relieve stress. I help them focus on their passions, build strategies, and reduce stressing over things outside of their control. At times, a simple misunderstanding can destroy a friendship or relationship by one or more people becoming emotional and overreacting, saying things that cannot be "unsaid" or easily forgotten. In other instances, an event or disappointment may cause more or less visible emotional responses by different people causing others to question one's sensitivity or empathy. e.g. "You do not look sad." Each of us was raised somewhat differently, has a different history of life experiences, and expresses or suppresses feelings and emotions differently. Learning to separate different from incorrect in our minds can be a struggle and learning not to outwardly respond may be more difficult.
