GASTAMINE is an EIT RawMaterials co-funded project that aims to develop and commercialise gas monitoring equipment to improve safety conditions in confined and GPS-free environments, namely in underground mines and tunnels, and to monitor parameters that influence the stability of underground operations. GASTAMINE will develop a customised unmanned aerial system (UAS) to automate the measurement of multiple hazardous gas concentrations (CO2, CO, O2, NOx, CH4, H2S, SO2).
