We offer a safe and reliable container, chassis and trailer storage solution as part of the Norfolk Southern Network. Gateway Global Intermodal Services (GGIS) provides a lighted, fenced yard with a 24-hour state of the art security camera system. We are located in the Gateway Global Logistics Center (GGLC) off Hwy 72 in Rossville, Tennessee. GGLC is the largest intermodal facility in Norfolk Southern’s 22-state network. Our location in GGLC and close proximity to the NS allows for the seamless transfer of freight containers between trucks and trains. Trailers and Chassis can be moved and stored on our facility with ease. Our new facility feeds directly into Gateway Global Logistics Center, a 1,500 acre industrial site with private, heavy-weight roads. Our facility is adjacent to Norfolk Southern’s Crescent Corridor initiative, which is a 2,500 mile rail route connecting the Southeast and Northeast. This corridor is the largest infrastructure project in Norfolk Southern’s 180-year history and one of the most expansive projects of new freight capacity in America since the creation of the Interstate Highway System.
