Gateway Capital Management (“GCM”) is a Wall Street club managed by students in Richmond, Virginia with a focus on investment banking. The group attracts top-performing students who demonstrate a strong desire to collaborate with and learn from a diverse group of fellow students while developing an understanding of finance, valuation modeling, and public speaking. The group prepares its members for careers in finance (i.e. investment banking, capital markets, sales and trading, and asset management) by operating an investment fund from which members learn to value and pitch companies. All new members complete a rigorous training program which further develops their technical expertise, preparing them for the intensive recruiting process. Additionally, GCM serves as a career mentorship program through interactions with current partners and fund alumni. Gateway aims to place all members into top-tier financial services firms.
