Global Auto-Trade Group PLC (GATG) is a holding company, which is a result of more than 10 years of business development in the former Soviet republic of Moldova.
The company is the sole owner of Auto-Prezent SRL and of 75% of its subsidiary, Megatest SRL – Moldovan market leaders in import, supply, testing and servicing of specialised vehicles, agricultural, construction, municipal / utility machinery, cars as well as sale of spare parts and accessories.
Since its formation in 1998, the company has amassed a 3,000-strong corporate client base as well as numerous government and retail clients numbering over 10,000.
Today the company’s retail network comprises 9 stores, 8 showrooms, engine overhaul workshop, MOT, repair and maintenance service centres operating from GATG’s own premises across Moldova, making it the largest and one of the most successful companies of its kind in the country.
Over the past 15 years, Global Auto-Trade Group’s subsidiaries became among the leaders in the automotive sector of Moldova. As a Group, GATG established a strong and trustworthy reputation both domestically and in CIS and holds 20% of Moldova’s specialised machinery, components and equipment market in terms of sales.
