Gauchos Do Sul

Located in Vintage Park, Gauchos Do Sul is a new Brazilian Traditional Steakhouse complete with endless Rodízio-style service, a gourmet salad area, cocktail lounge, wine room, and weekly piano bar. During the 15th century, Southern Brazil was a land of vast plains, cattle-filled pasture and place called home to South American cattleman called "gauchos." For us, more specifically, a region called Rio Grande do Sul. Over time, as the gauchos of Brazil continued to colonize and cultivate their land, they also created a culture, rich with pride in their land, passion for their roots, and love for their people. Due to the nature of their labor, a gauchos' diet consisted of plenty of meat, slowly cooked over an open flame. At Gauchos Do Sul, our traditional gaucho chefs still follow these same Brazilian traditions today. And as rich as it is in culture, we knew we couldn't keep it to ourselves. So we opened Gauchos Do Sul in 2016 in Vintage Park. Since then we have been recognized in Voyage Houston magazine, won Top 10 Diners' Choice Awards in six categories (Best Overall, Best Service, Best Ambiance, Best Value, Good for Groups, and Special Occasions), awarded the "People Love Us on Yelp" for achieving 5 out of 5 stars and featured in Houston Chronicle's 25 Must-try restaurants in the Cypress Area.
