Bei GAUSS treffen innovative Ideen auf technisches Know-how. Was 2011 als Diplomarbeit an der Hochschule Darmstadt begann, hat sich seither zu einem interdisziplinären studentischen Forschungsprojekt entwickelt. Während bei dem ersten Motorrad der Fokus auf der Rekuperation am Vorderrad lag, arbeiten derzeit Studierende aus verschiedenen Fachbereichen daran, das erste rein elektrische Rennmotorrad mit einem wechselbarem Akkusystem zu bauen, mit welchem ein 24h-Weltrekord aufstellt werden soll.
