GAUSTEC was born in 2002 when we started our research and development in the field of magnetic separation. The goal was to develop a technology capable of recovering the iron ore contained in the fine tailings discarded in dams by several mining companies at the time. Today, Gaustec has the largest magnetic separator in the world with the capacity to feed 1,400 tons/hour, the GHX-1400. General solutions in mineral processing are also part of our scope of action: Dewatering of tailings; Development of special routes for mineral processing; Supply of equipment and complementary solutions to magnetic separation, making the process much more efficient. Investments in research and technological innovation are the differentials that make GAUSTEC a world reference in the mining sector.
